Academic Scholarships for Transfer Students
The TU Office of Admission is proud to award academic scholarships to students who have excelled in the classroom. Scholarship awards are typically based on a student’s grade point average, completed curriculum, and academic accomplishments.
The University of Tulsa also offers need-based grants. Submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required for consideration. Information can be found on TU’s Office of Financial Aid page.

Monetary value listed is per year and are average amounts . Meeting the standards listed on this scholarship table does not guarantee any level of scholarship.

Applicants are automatically considered for these above-listed scholarships during the application for admission review process based on eligibility. As such, there is no separate application for TU’s academic scholarships with the exception of the Presidential Scholarship.

Phi Theta Kappa
Completed at least 30 hours and certificate of membership in PTK
GPA: 3.50+

TCC Honors
Awarded an Associates degree as an Honors Scholar
GPA: 3.50+
Award: $25,000 -
Presidential Scholarship
Presidential Scholarship recipients are awarded full tuition for 8 semesters. Eligible students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must submit a separate application and resume when applying for the Presidential Scholarship. For more information, visit the Presidential Scholarship website.
