My TU Story
I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to represent The University of Tulsa! Since moving to the area in 2015, I have fallen in love with the city of Tulsa, the unique culture of the area, and especially the beautiful TU campus. I’m originally from St. Louis, Mo., where I earned my Master’s degree in Higher Education, and I’ve been working in Admissions for nearly 5 years now. I’m honored to have the chance to work with so many outstanding high school students and their families across the country and to share all of the wonderful things that TU has to offer. Students who choose TU can benefit from an incredibly personalized learning environment with small class sizes and outstanding academic programs, while still enjoying the perks associated with NCAA Division I athletics, countless student activities, and rich traditions. As your admission counselor, I’m here to answer any questions that you may have and to serve as your primary contact throughout the admission process. I look forward to getting to know you!
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME

Favorite spot on campus: The steps of the McFarlin Library. I love the view of downtown Tulsa and the beauty of that building!
First job out of college: Special education teacher with Teach for America in New Orleans.
Favorite ice cream: Hot fudge brownie sundaes
If I had to do it all over again, I would major in: the same thing! I love what I do, and all of my past choices made that possible. I was a Psychology major with a minor in Education.
I listen to: Everything! All genres, all decades…I am a music fanatic and could never choose just one favorite.
Favorite TU tradition: The homecoming bonfire
Dream vacation spot: I would love to take an extended tour of Europe.
In my spare time I: travel as much as possible, go to concerts and local live music shows, explore Tulsa, and catch up on sleep!
Favorite place to eat in Tulsa: Andolini’s Pizzeria
Favorite Tulsa Attraction: The Blue Dome District
If I could have a superpower it would be: Flying, of course! I could travel anywhere I wanted, visit my family without the long drive, and I’d never have to sit in traffic.
Biggest fear: Maybe not my biggest fear, but I absolutely panic at the sight of spiders.
